Cell phone mount recommendations

Might be self serving but I have a vector off road e-dock for sale, it comes with the 67 designs balls just add mount.

That being said, they have lower profile versions as well. Definitely look into them.

67 Designs. Bit pricey but the best mount i have used in any car so far. Not to mention looks clean and minimal.

I went with the CMM Off-Road grab bar 20mm ball mount, 67 Designs universal phone holder and nano carbon fibre arm. Added a 7” lightning cable from Amazon to complete the setup. Really happy with the result. Super clean.

I’m happy with the Nano, but the Mini would have worked well too.

I really like this setup but they changed the grab bar on the 2022 and there is no longer an exposed bolt so the ball mount wont work? I looked at the CMM website and it says 18 to current JLs so must be an oversight. Currently looking for another solution to attach a ball joint to the grab handle if anyone has one.

I am in the same boat as you. I have been looking for something that doesn't stick out or with adding anything with an arm above the dash.

I know its not 'life tested' but it looks simple and out of the way depending on how you position it

I've had mine over a week now and so far super happy with it. Love the build quality, weight to it, but most of all how sleek it looks with the phone on

Hi. Looking for any “life tested” cell phone holder/mount recommendations. I see too many that are big and bulky that mount on the dash. I have a cheaper plastic one from another vehicle that clips on the vent which I like, but it gets a bit flimsy on the JL vent. Thx

Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions.
4 parts. Magnet, nano arm, 20mm ball with flat side and double sided Gorilla brand tape. (Been there for a month of between 40 and 0 degree temps (F) and still doesn't budge)

I have the 67 Designs ball mont on the dash, but it really bugs me to have the arm and phone sticking up over the dash.
This works and I ran a USB to just under the ignition button for charging.
