Have others measured the resistance between can+ and can- with power off? According to the CANBUS spec, there's supposed to a 120ohm resistor at each end of the bus. I measure 40ohms, which means there are three resistors. Digging further, I measured that each junction box (one green, one white) has 120ohms. Taahe other resistor is at the security gateway. Before I tear out the tazer mini to find out if it's responsible, I'm curious if this 40ohms is standard on all JLs. The spec is something like 45-125ohms on the bus, but I've also read lower resistance *should* work if not too low.
Chasing CANBUS gremlins led me down this hole... ?
