Get rid of the white paint on the interior of the hard top.

We have seen the video of the TRX with the new engine doing testing, and with the way of the V8 going away... I'm just curious how many people will jump ship and replace their under powered V8 and move to the more powerful I6??

The only fix that I have found for us going into 4 cyl mode, which also triggers dumb sounds, is slapping the stick into manual mode when your cruising. It disables the "eco" mode.

This plug is what I ultimately went to as a fix as well. The only down side I found is that the bass seems quieter... But maybe that's cause it was over powered to begin with?

Highway at 75, 15ish... in town 13... XR package @ 35 PSI.

Another to consider is the EVO. Ran it on my last 2 JL's with zero issues with my 37's. Will buy again when I upgrade this one to 37's.

I was about to ask if your hard top was unplugged, I had this same issue last year... I take my hard top off so often that I didnt plug it in, just like I use to do on my previous JL's. But I guess this is just a 392 thing. I am trying to find a wiring diagram to make my own jumper to eliminate...

I am looking for the wiring diagram for the hard top plug. My issue is that when I unplug the hard top, it triggers noise cancellation to activate and creates this crazy reverb noise from the bass. When I had my prior JL this was not an issue, but with my 392 it is annoying as heck... So I don't...

If I would have known it was from the sub I would have searched for it, and hopefully would have found your post. Glad we solved it.

Update, I plugged in my hard top connector, as I said before I take it off so often that I never plug it in, and 99% solution for me....

Dude... Thanks for making me not feel crazy. So it appears to be the sub producing sound as part of the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) This makes so much sense. I'm going to disconnect the mics and see if that helps. I will check if they share mics with the phone jazz

Wait.... I will science this tomorrow... I dont plug in my hard top because I take it off so often... If this is it, holy crap what a flaw.... I did note that I hear my speakers give a pop when I turn on and off the sport exhaust.
