I have my new wheels and tires on order and I prefer not to transfer over the TPMS sensors from the factory wheels to the new wheels. With that said, if I do not transfer the sensors over it will trip the TPMS light on the dash. Does anyone know if the AEV Procal (or any other tuner) will disable the TPMS sensors all together so that way the jeep is not searching for TPMS sensors in the wheels? I dont want to be starring at that CEL all the time and I prefer to disable it completely if possible. Main reason is we go offroad a lot and air the tires down usually to 10psi or so and then I normally run around 28psi in a 35" tire on the road. I also want to keep the factory TPMS sensors in the factory rubicon wheels to help with increased resale value for when we sell them as soon as the new wheels and tires come in.

So can anyone confirm if they have been able to completely disable the TPMS light on the dash? If so, what device did you use to disable the TPMS sensors?

What is the range of the TPMS? If all the TPMS sensors were in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, would it still recognize them? If so, it would be easy enough to create a pressurized container that had all 4 (or 5) TPMS sensors mounted on it.

If there's not a "right" way to fix something, sometimes you need to come up with a "hack". :)

The Tazer (and other programmers) can disable TPMS, but I do not believe that any other options exist. TPMS sensors have a very short range, which is what gives them the ability to determine their position on the vehicle after a tire rotation. They have to be within so many inches of the TPMS stationary relay. It is government mandated that all new vehicles have a tire pressure monitoring system, and allowing that to be so easily defeated is likely not acceptable.

If you get the Tazer, you can just lower your PSI alarm threshold. I would go ahead and still add the TPMS sensors to the aftermarket tires/rims and then lower the trigger point. That way if you do get a flat you'll know before you find out the hard way.

This makes sense if you plan to get the Tazer anyway.
