Replaced dead TPMS sensor, dash light still on.

I had a TPMS sensor go bad. "Service Tire Monitoring System" dash light, and red -- for that tire. Had it replaced and all 4 sensors are now reading good. But, the dash light is still on. Flashes and goes solid like it did with the dead sensor. Hoping it's something simple. Thank you.

Give it some time before you do anything. Some things take several cycles before they get reset. Bad TPMS is likely one of them. Checking for and clearing codes may help.

The dash tire light finally went off after about a week. Then yesterday it came back on. All sensors still reading correctly, including the new replacement. Today, it turned back off again! OH well, minor issue my OCD will just have to deal with.
