I broke a TPMS sensor on my spare tire I was installing when rotating tires.
I bought a new one from Amazon, as I had done before & had a tire shop install.
The tire shop tried three different hand sets to try to get my Jeep tire warning light to go out on the rt. front where I installed the tire.
I have driven the Jeep several times trying to get the light to reset.
I'm wondering if I got a sensor with a bad battery.
Any suggestions how to get my Jeep to see the sensor with out going to the dealer?

Try these things.

1. Take off the spare and leave it in the garage.
2. Lower PSI like 15 lbs and go drive one block.
3. Come back and inflate tires to door placard S/B 37 psi.
4. Go drive and after about a few blocks it should work.

If that does not work then you will need to go to the tire shop. A good one can scan the sensor to tell you if it is the correct sensor. I doubt the battery is dead however they could have sent the wrong sensor with the wrong protocol. Cheers.
