Got my wheels and rims switched. Front driver wheel didn’t read and 10k later it did.

All read for an hour then the other 3 went out. 10k later they came back. Was fine for a day, front passenger went out. Came back 10k later

When they go out the system says to service tire pressure system

Any ideas? Thought the system refreshes itself.

Were they new TPMS sensors or did you use the ones the JL came with, lots have had trouble and it seems to come from aftermarket ones along with the wheels used

Removed from stock. They are the same ones that came with the Jeep. Not sure if the dealer needs to reset them. Kind of lost here.

There is no reset, the TPMS sensors on the JL are self learning and should be picked up by the modules within a mile or so of driving.

What type of wheels do you have, some have reported with a large offset that it pushes the sensors out to far from the module to read 100% also you can go to any discount tire and they can use a handheld to read the sensors on each wheel to ensure they are working correctly

The dealer can reprogram the sensors with his scan tool. Dealer is the only one that has the software at this point to do it. I had to do it and it was simple and free.

I thought the only reprogram option was to have the limits adjusted

They plug their scan tool under your dash and then go around to each tire with the scanner. It worked on mine and I have new wheels and 35"'s. Try it. Anybody that drives around with that idiot light on their dash everyday must be a real piece of work. Why not go back to a old TJ or YJ then. :)

I did not know that and yes that idiot light or warning messages would drive me nuts ...

If I had to use the Jeep Dealer here to do that it would take them two days and they would still screw it up..

Have the cooper at3 with original sensors moved over. Seems like every day one goes out and comes back on the next day. Endless cycle.

Will take it back to my tire guy to look at. Any tips from the Jeep pros on what the likely issue is?

I have 37s and did some froading today. When we got back on the pavement one of my sensors was showing 45 lbs. on the dash. I checked it with a gauge and it read 35 lbs. (what I'd inflated it to). At some point on the freeway it went back to 35 lbs. on the dash.
