We have a month a month and a half in southern AZ where it stays mid 90's at night and goes over 110 daily
No humidity makes it bearable as long as you stay hydrated . 115 in AZ is better than 90 in TN for example
Yeah I agree entirely, spent my time in Tennessee as well. That’s the problem with Kuwait it’s a coastal country, even 10 percent humidity at 120 sucks.

That being said OP I wish you the best of luck, I am sure you will enjoy it. One of my guys that just retired was stationed at the Embassy and said it was a great gig!

Super hot doesn’t even begin to describe it. During my short two day stays waiting to catch a flight into another country it was like 90 at night. That being said it felt like 40 at night do to the temp swings.
That's a normal summer night in Texas...lol

I was in Riyadh and Oman for a while. The heat in the coastal area is a LOT different. In Riyadh, 120 felt cooler than 98 in Oman.

Yes, my current employer is shipping it there for me. I will be working at the US Embassy. I wonder if being an “import” would a local go crazy on an offer lol.
We took ours to Africa (same employer), loads of fun, make sure to take a spare aux battery, the shippers did not know to disconnect mine and it was DOA. (Replacement price here 400US$ for some strange reason…)

Nice! I grew up as an”embassy kid”. My dad actually had a wrangler sent to the Dominican Republic back in the late 90s when we were posted there. Basically the whole reason why I drive a wrangler now. Definitely fun rare cars to have overseas.

Humidity.
I moved from St. Louis to Las Vegas 21 years ago. I prefer Vegas' 110 to dog days 90 degrees in STL.

I've lived all over the midwest, Ohio, Nebraska and southern Illinois right across the river from St Louis, and the humidity there damned near did me in. I moved to Denver and they were dying at 25% and I'm walking around in a jacket saying how nice the weather was

Enjoy it.
I spend several years between Kuwait, Saudi and Oman. Had a great time.
Don't get caught with naughty material though.. they take that stuff serious. Or alcohol.
I normally never drove in Kuwait on account of them being absolute nut balls on the road. The speed limit was not even taken as a suggestion. Though.. this was 20 years ago, so maybe it's different now.

So, how does this work? They load it on a boat and you see it in a few months? Always been curious about it because most people will either sell or leave their vehicle here if relocating overseas.

Freaks me out a bit thinking about the Boat that just caught on fire and sank with a bunch ofcars from VW/ Audi/Lamborghini plus a bunch of other collector cars, supposedly.

Good luck. Stay safe.
how crazy was that. 200 Rolls-Royce also a bunch of alphas too I think. that as nuts to read about.

Nuts. I heard a couple of Lamborghini Huracan STO's, and some Porsches as well. I read something that there were a bunch of collector cars as well ( RX-7 (FD), WRX STI, and an R34 Skyline I saw in the pic) But I haven't been able to verify that.

One reason why now a lot of those luxury cars are going for $100k over sticker. They need to make up that $$ lost.
