New member here, trying to work a deal on 20 Rubicon, first Jeep ever.
Like to get some opinions.

Had my old car (Honda Civic) totaled couple weekends ago (we're ok) but car was no way fixable. So I'm without a vehicle (insurance rental that I have to turn in Monday) so I can't really deal from a position of strength as I don't have the luxury of ordering and waiting for what I truly want.
I'm in Naples,FL and have 2 that I have my eye on. An Ocean blue Rubicon V6 and auto with a hard top, pretty loaded but doesn't have the Adaptive Cruise control similar to my Honda that I truly loved using on long trips. He'll go almost 5% under invoice but he's 80 miles away.
The other is a Red one ( first choice) ,loaded as well with the cruise and the power top, (which I wasn't planning on getting but sounds like a nice feature).
No other options are lacking, has everything I want, slightly more money, and local (20 miles) but he'll only do invoice.
He said he'd see what he could do today so not sure how it'll work out.

Is it worth it for the soft power top and first choice of color and the one option I was missing from the other to maybe not get as good as a deal just to make sure I have no regrets?

If I was ordering I'd probably hit up Criswell, not afraid of going out of state to get a great deal.

Tread Lightly will get you 1% under invoice. Difference between 1% and the 5% is what $2K. You are spending probably over $50K already. Get what you actually want. You will regret not. I would go for the one you like, negotiate like hell and take what you get.

Take a look at Lakeland Dodge. I ordered my diesel JLUR from here. My salesperson was Tyler Whitmoyer, super easy experience. FYI: they were able to do 7% under invoice with Treadlightly. Good luck.

Well I got the Jeep I wanted, but not the deal I wanted but in the end I won’t have regrets on “settling”.
Firecracker Red, sky one touch, V6 Auto, pretty well loaded.
Just got home, but will post pics tomorrow.

I do love the Jeep. The ACC has been a huge disappointment. Doesn't seem to work at all. Though I do love the Sky one touch roof.
