My regret is they made the jeep user friendly now. My wife hated the ride, noise, lack of refinement and stick in my jku. She's driven the new jlu 85% vs my 15%. Can't get her out of it. I'll fix her thouh, I'm waiting for the Gladiator diesel. She hates diesels.
LOL, Take the top off and put big ol knobby tires on it. She'll drive something else.

Only regret is the color I chose (Black). Dealer had exactly what I wanted with exception of the color and that was gonna be custom order (long wait). Drove off the lot that day. So only a minor regret.
All of the lot Jeeps seemed to be black when I was shopping around - with very few exceptions.

Not that color was a deal breaker for me, but since I was ordering I wanted to make sure I had a different color from everyone else.

2.5 lift , 35x12.5x17 on it already. Bumpers/steps next week. We drive the beach 2-4 times a week. She can't wait till it"s warm enouh to drop the top/windshield.. Nope; this one spoiled her.

Exactly. But the 14 year old in me screamed "Drive the Jeep off the lot now!!!"
I did and its totally (99.5%) fine.

Whats on the spotify playlist?
Do you have any regrets about any of your song choices?
So far some of my favorite old school Dream Theater (Mike Portnoy days) songs. My only regret is having a lot of long ones on there, so now when I get to where I'm going I have to sit in the Jeep for 10 minutes finishing the song because it's too good to leave halfway through. Serious problem, folks.

I haven't had regrets. But I have only owned it a little over a week.

Right from the beginning of the 350 mile drive home from the dealer, I noted it was a lot of work to drive it. The steeing was requiring a lot of inputs. Back and forth. We only drove 2 hours the first night. But it was tiring the way it drove. The next morning, I took it to an alignment shop in the town we stayed overnight in. Caster was 4 1/2 degrees. Good. Damn close to on the spec. Toe-in was only about half of the nominal .112" spec. I had them put it on the nominal. Big improvement. Still, the steering system is tight and will not totally self-center. I think it's getting a bit better over the past few hundred miles. But I think the steering stabilizer is the culprit of being too tight.
My first drive home was 500 miles and I noticed the same thing. I didn't take it in for alignment yet because I'm waiting for new wheels to come in so it all gets dialed in together, but after 1k miles now, it has improved noticeably. I think it's pretty much settled to where I expect the rest is just tuning the alignment a tad and me not used to driving on fat tires since I'm more accustomed to more snappy steering on sports cars with summer performance tires.

What other vehicles made your short list? What was it about them that you're kinda missing now?

Worth nothing, I'm the genuinely interested conversationalist type of guy not the blindly arguing type.
Absolutely. I have always had a wrangler in my stable. I have had seven of them. But I also usually have something sporty. I was looking at replacing my 16 Miata that I just got rid of with a newer 19’ or with a new Camaro SS 1le or Mustang GT. I decided to get the wrangler and also upgrade my motorcycle to a new CBR1000rr. I have found that the motorcycle has not scratched my itch for a performance car. First world problems, I guess. Lol

My plan is to keep the wrangler and get another car in two to three years.

I’m a semi fan of DT, but I really like Flying Colors.

For those who have major issues with their new Jeep, the buyer remorse is at 100% and they probably will never touch another FCA product in their lifetime.

For those who have (yet) experienced any major issue, OMG WTF A GODLY JEEP I HAVE!

After reading all the post about problems people are having with their JL, do you regret buying it?
I traded a 16 JK 2 door for a 18 JL 4 door. I like the looks of my new one better, it rides much better and I love the new auto transmission. I don’t like the auto start/stop , that’s really the only thing I don’t like about it. Some of the frame and steering issues people are having is kinda scary..
I had zero issues out of my JK.
What say you !!
I bought a JLU Sahara and regretted I did not get the Rubicon. So I traded my Sahara in today for a Rubicon. It was easy and now, no more regrets. Cheers

Hopefully you didn't get hosed on the trade in value of the Sahara.
Enjoy the Rubi!

I don't regret buying my Jeep, but I do have Options Remorse. I wish I would have ordered custom rather than bought off the lot. With more pre-purchase research I would have done things a little differently.
