My BW hyperforms were replaced by BW with the max’s and I cant tell a difference. I left the BW lights and brackets in place and just popped these in. I am having a little more trouble than last time getting the light/fender lined up in driver front than i have had. I left alone for now i was getting too frustrated lol
I do wonder a little if im not happy with the BW, how difficult it would be to swap the fenders themselves to the RR Max Terrains and just keep the BW lights since they use the same form and fit.

Was wheeling with a guy last weekend who had the RR fenders. They will not warranty them, he had to buy a new set when he broke one. At least BW does offer lifetime warranty.

Now that’s incentive enough to stay Bushwacker. It’s strange that the Rugged Ridge are actually (nominally however), more expensive than Bushwacker setup. While many of you probably don’t know this, the AAL and BW lighting is a diffused setup and has a more functional sequential style while the RR is more noticeable and shows dead spots between each of the LEDs. That little bit of detail makes them stand apart.

There may be an indication as to why places like XT and Off Road Elmer’s have plenty RR available and abW is consistently sold out or backordered. And while those of you with Max Terrains swear by the fact they are more impervious to rock and less prone to breaking under stress (not including the shared instructions), you still have to buy replacements while BW guarantees a limited lifetime warranty and will ship out a replacement set without question. Sometimes knowing a company will go above and beyond is an indication of them standing behind their products. Should I mention too that BW has been in business since 1967 while RR has been around since 2005?

Who swore by? I have Max Terrains because the Hyperforms had a lead time everywhere. Pretty sure they are the same thing in a different box.

Side topic… how do you like your Nittos? I was struggling between Nitto Ridge or Recon versus Mickey Baja Boss (35x12.5R17, coming from 32x10R17)… there was a noticeable difference in ride quality and road noise. Love my Mickeys but they’re not necessarily a budget build tire. Keep in mind, I am already on a 4” TeraFlex lift… this is why I have been sitting on higher fenders versus going to a 5-6” Metal Cloak lift. Here’s before and now…. You can see why I opted between these 2 fender brands. ?

This is my first set on the jeep but I have had great luck on my F250 w/ them. These and Toyo RT I have stretched out to 80K mi on a set rotating/bal at every oil change. They are quiet and i dont see many flats if any. The downside on a jeep is they are pretty heavy. Went from BFG KM2 35x12.50 to these Nittos and had a immediate drop in mpg’s and OD is only off a smidge. They are alot heavier.

Are the RRs more durable than the BW? I'm looking for that exact look, trying to decide whether to get RRs, BW, or mopar high line and chop them.

If it was me, I would definitely use the high line and chop with that light bracket... can't remember who makes it.

Nope, they’re the same garbage plastic. I want to do the the mopar oem rubi flares but cost to buy is kind of high, and hard to find second hand. plus the cost of the chop.
