Did you put it in 4WD while not moving and shut it off? If so the collar might not have lined up to the inner shaft before shutting the vehicle off. Either way it's an easy fix
You are going to need to remove the FAD so you can put the collar back on. If you had put the Jeep in 4wd before shutting it off it would of slid the collar over the inner shaft and stayed in place. No big deal, just take care not to tear the gasket when removing. You're almost there!
37 Yokohama X-MTs on the wife's daily. Installed in Jan, 15k on them and about half wore down. Were quieter than the ATs that they replaced but have now gotten loud. However, can't believe how smooth the Jeep rides on the highway. She wants another set when they're gone😀
A couple of people here locally have installed the Dorman unit and they leaked in little time. The recommendation was to make sure to use the Mopar o-rings and that remedied the issue.
I tried unplugging the fresh air connector and the door drifted open. We were going to WV and it was 19 degrees. Wife was driving and I was freezing so pulled the glove box out while going down the road and reconnected. Been living with this stupid AC strategy ever since.
Just recently did mine and the factory gasket looks perfect. I did have a new one which I installed but will use the original when I drop the pan to swap more old fluid out.
We were there last weekend on 37s, 4.88 and lockers and had to winch twice on the upper loop 93. 93G could be done clockwise starting from the south but not the other way. It did not rain while we were there but had earlier in the week. Wet red clay is a game changer, dry would be very...
Raceline just released the cast 951 and the wife immediately checked off on the wheel. Very little information on Raceline wheels with this tire but needless to say it does require spacers for the ring.
Just went through this myself. Take out the factory upper isolator. The instructions are confusing because they say to reuse them and two pages later they say not to.🤷🏼♂️
