Ok thanks, you happy with your winch? Is it water proof, or do you cover it? I’m probably going with that bumper but still looking for opinions on which winch.
I live in the northwest so I'm kind of a Warn fanboy. I haven't used this one yet but have used other models in the past with no issues. Yes it's waterproof but I still cover it with a neoprene cover. I have never had a wireless winch so I'm excited for that feature.

With my previous Jeeps I had front bumpers made, but this time I want to get an aftermarket one, why are some 300.00 and some 900.00, same style and specs. Is it thickness of steel, how it’s welded or something else? And is LOD a good brand?
Thanks
Installed my LOD today - Signature series full width with smittybilt winch - probably the best aftermarket bumper I have owned, fit and finish was awesome a little tricky to install main 8 bolts, but winch plate and fog lights were a breeze.

@melendez69 Is there a winch plate where your fogs are? You decided not to go with winch?
I'm not set on a winch just yet... I don't quite know if I want one. I'm using 2 of the 4 winch mounting holes for the lights.

The only problem I have is their install guides leave a little to be desired. At times I felt I was looking at something from IKEA. Details like "hey, if you are installing the factory LEDs from the factory steel bumper, you may want to install your winch first, unlike what these instructions tell you." Let's just say I got really good at putting the LEDs in.

I went with 7 Slot Customs Pritchett Canyon. Beefy bumper, fit was perfect, and it’s really compact. Another nice thing is it’s fairly unique. It’s made in NC and was moderately priced, not too expensive Just another option.

Here’s one in the garage. It’s been in the -40 range for the last two weeks or so . It doesn’t stick out much at all. The hoop is pretty small, but does exactly what you need it to do. I’m really happy with it.

I have the full-width LoD Destroyer with the same bar... very front of the bar sticks out 11" from the grille.

That’s only one inch farther than stock bumper, it’s 10 at the furthest point ( bumps by fogs ).

I have the same light bar mount on top, and the nearest point is exactly 8" from the grille. Nice guesstimating there, @Sean K.

I went with a front bumper from Roam Offroad. I like that it hid the winch. Lost the fogs which isn't a big deal for me.

Nearest point? So is the front side of the hoop 9.75"ish from the front of the grill? I was thinking the farthest point on the bumper (front side of the bull bar) was about 8" from the middle/front of the grill....so I may not have been too close.
The very front part of the bar is 11" from the flat part of the grille. The gap between the inside edge of the light bar mount & grille is 8". I thought you were pretty close.
