We have the rotors created in huge batches to prevent obtaining them from becoming an issue, so (hypothetically) even if we were to stop having the rotors made there would be an ample supply of them to last quite a few years, as with the caliper parts.
good to know, thanks for that. Will help with my decision for sure

Did you go with Baer’s SS4 13.5” front and 13” rear? What brake lines did you use with this kit? Thanks
Yes, I didnt want to go bigger than 17" tires. Stock OE Brake lines, just re positioned per the instructions. They are long enough with my lift kit.

Brembo makes a fantastic front brake upgrade for under 5,000.00.

I thought the sport or regular wrangler had the single piston calipers vs altitude, saharah, moab, rubicon having dual piston set up.

I don't know about wildwood. I only have experience with Brembo as far as performance on European motorcycles.
They've been around for a long time, US made, and are real big in the restoration hot rodding and drag racing. I had a Wilwood set on our Infjniti, a nice upgrade for sure!

And I would think it's a smart upgrade for those guys that put on huge tires. I am learning a lot just being on this forum, watching a few YouTube videos, and my personal experience with heavy tires.

The cost can get very expensive when you do anything over the size and weight of stock and decide to do serious wheeling in the rocks.

Brakes being a big part of the "safety formula" when adding a lot of rotating mass.

I'm looking at the Hawk pads, should be a nice upgrade over stock and a couple notches up from the Powerstop Z36 sets. AFAIK Hawk only has the front pads though, but still worth considering as the fronts do about 75% of the stopping power. I'm moving to 35s soon (have Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s 315/70/17 in my shed waiting to be installed) and these weigh about 65 lbs each, so close to 100 lbs w/ the wheels so having better brake bite is a must IMO.
