I recently been experiencing a blind spot alert while driving. It states sensors are blocked and both mirror alerts light up. Nothing is blocking the sensors. Turning the jeep off seems to be the only way to clear the alert.

Anyone else experience this phenomenon?

Have you cleaned the sensors?

Have you recently changed anything, like going with bigger tires?
Added a 2.5” lift and replaced shocks.

I've had this happen to me before. *Usually* it's been mud caked on the sensors. I've also had the adaptive cruise get disabled because I washed the windows while driving in the sun. A restart clears the error.

Mine does this too. Dirty or clean, does not matter. Happens when driving next to something for a distance, like guardrails on a bridge, a wall, thick trees in a forest, etc. I have not figured out a way to reboot it while it is running. Only thing that clears it is turning it off and starting it up again.

I have it happen on the beach all the time. My Jeep thinks a semi-truck is about to pass, yet there's no one around for a mile in any direction.
