Bicycle carrier

I need a bike carrier for my JL with a 38x13.5x17 spare tire, either hitch or spare tire mounted.
Could anyone recommend a mount?

1up usa is built like a tank yet light and made in the USA and your bike(s) will be rock solid back there. We have 3 of them in the family and was the only one I considered after seeing what my kids put them through.

Having used a spare tire bicycle carrier on my YJ, I'd now recommend a hitch-mounted rack every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

It seems like hitch mounted is the way to go, as long as it'll clear my giant tires.

I also agree that the 1up USA is a great way to go. If your tire is too big you can add a 2 Inch receiver extension to clear the tire. If you do you will want a stabilizer for the extension.

Came across a really big issue.
Lifted my hitch cap, and found out there's a safe in the hitch! Wtf.
Dealer had no idea, and they don't have the combination.
Is there a way to get this out??

they should have the ability to contact the prior owner unless they bought it at auction. I had a dealership call me a couple years after I traded in a truck to get the PIN for the stereo. I told them it was written in the owner's manual which they passed on to the new owner.

short of that time to get the drill and air chisel out.

I bought the 2 bike rack back in 2019 from Amazon, I use it on a 33 spare, not sure about 38.

Yea ask dealer if they can contact the previous owner, the owner probably forgot and might want it.
