BEWARE - Never Buy from 67 Designs

First off the Phone Clamps Melt and turn into a black goop.
The tar like goop gets on the phone, your hands and the camera lenses.
This was after just over a year.

Then the other day I ordered a new arm and because the 20mm balls and the clamps are smooth the arm will not stay in place and just swings around, even though it is a tight as I can get it. (I'm 6'2" 220 and in shape).

I asked them to fix it and got this response.

Order ANY part and install it and it is defective (even though never used) they will not replace it.
They said "The product has been installed and cannot be returned and used. Not eligible for return."

It's 1 day old and not working.
How is one supposed to be able to tell it it works without installing it?

Basically they do not stand behind their product and you are SOL if you open the box and it doesn't work.

That's unexpected. My works exceptionally. It's extremely solid. Just have to replace the rubber side grips every two years or so due to family members pulling out their phones without opening the mount.

I've been using their products for almost 5 years now. Never had this issue. I've had great customer service from them as well. My brother uses their products at his work and has spent thousands, no issues.

Bulletpoint prototyped their parts by buying 67Designs parts.

No and it was between 60 and 75 lately, and not parked facing the sun.

Any chance the heat came from your phone? For example, is your phone battery made by Samsung (mini version of the 4xe battery)?

You aren't returning it because you didn't like the color or something, you are returning it because it is defective. The fact that it was installed does not supercede its defectiveness.
