Curious as to what you gals and guys are using. I am considering adding one to my Rubicon. I see systems like the Drone (https://www.dronemobile.com/), but wondered what else is out there.

That would be good, but how do you access it and use it? My dealer is 500 miles away and I want "instant" access in the event it is stolen. You most likely already have one installed from your dealer![]()
It was in jest. Many people are finding GPS trackers that they never knew were there to begin with.....courtesy of the dealerThat would be good, but how do you access it and use it? My dealer is 500 miles away and I want "instant" access in the event it is stolen.
Ah...no worries. To that point FCA has tracking as well, but not really usable from a customer point of view.It was in jest. Many people are finding GPS trackers that they never knew were there to begin with.....courtesy of the dealer
One would not leave their mobile phone in the vehicle when they are not in it (theft issue in and of itself). I am looking for a device that tracks the vehicle 24x7 so that in the event it is stolen, I can track it.Cell phones have GPS tracking. I used GAIA App in Colorado on a bunch of mountain hikes and jeep trails worked perfect. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are wanting? Sorry if I am off target.![]()
Tile would require someone with the tile app installed and running to get close enough to the Jeep for it to be tracked. They don’t have a SIM card or communicate with gps satellites and rely on other tile users phones to broadcast a signal. Air tags are similar, but a lot of people have iPhones and it would be more likely to get picked up.Tile. Stick it somewhere inconspicuous.
Yes, I have it. I know how it works. Tile has been around for years longer and far more people are already using Tile because it’s used in both Apple and Android systems. When anyone using Tile gets in the vicinity it pings you with a location even if they move away. It works well, I’ve located far away items fairly quickly twice.Tile would require someone with the tile app installed and running to get close enough to the Jeep for it to be tracked.
