To those of you with beadlocks, how often do you have to torque the ring bolts? Getting some new wheels and am considering beadlocks, and want some opinions from those that have them...

I usually check after every wheeling trip. I usually have to dremel a few of the bolt heads back in shape. Ends up being about every other month.

I've been considering going to a conventional full beadlock as well. But, I'm currently running Icon Rebound Pro Innerrlock, which is essentially a zero maintenance system. The upside of the conventional beadlock over these is the clamping to prevent rotational slippage when aired down.

You need to go by what the manufacture recommends. Trail Ready says to not adjust torque on the bolts when the tire is inflated and never re-torque (use new bolts if they come loose). I have been running TR beadlocks for 5 years now, 2nd set of tires and have never had one come loose. I fully deflated the tires once to check before I knew they don't want you to do that.

At first, I checked both the wheel nuts and Beadlock Ring bolts torque every week for a month, the second month every two weeks, and from the third month, at the beginning of each month on my Method 106s. I torque the Ring bolts at 24 pounds and the lug nuts at 130 pounds.

I checked mine every 3k for a while, and now I don't worry about them. Make sure to use anti-seize on the bolts.

make sure if you use anything on the bolts (like Anti- Seize) that you adjust the spec you torque to accordingly. most torque specs are for dry fastenings.

I torqued mine to 18 ft-lbs because of the Anti-Seize. I think they were supposed to be at 21 or 24 dry. I did what the Internet said to subtract from the dry value.

I was in the same spot. I have had beadlocks on all of my sxs since 2007. I did't want to re-torque or any issues with them not being DOT. I did the method bead grip. wheels. they have a valley that grips the tire bead. I aired down to 6psi and ran all day with no issues.

Are you happy with bead grip Methods?

I can't believe they hold the bead in the conditions they do. I'm super happy with my method wheels. They balanced with almost no weight and I have no weird balance issues.

Yup, same here. I have 10 beadlocks (5 on the Jeep, 5 on the buggy) and all are at 18. Let me tell ya, that was one hell of a weekend doing 10 wheels (new tires on the Jeep and flipped tires on the buggy). My back was killing me.
