Recently saw this via a discussion and ordered one (cheap) and wanted to get some thoughts on this. It is a simple board that connects your Aux wires in the engine bay up to a board to facilitate "easier" connections to the Aux wiring.

My current pros and cons:
Pros:
  • It does simplify the connections points and grounding
  • Seems to be well made
  • Cost
Cons:
  • Not sure it is worth installation as it 1) adds another fail point in the connection and 2) still the same work as connecting direct to the Aux wires.
  • Seems redundant, and seems exposed a bit more that a direct connection to Aux wires with Nomex/Shrink etc.

So it's just a terminal strip with labels?

Could just run something like that and keep it waterproof I would think.
I feel that is all it really is... to me it is another connection where one may not be needed (another point of failure) and the concern with waterproofing as it is as open as it shows in pic. Under the hood, but water could get up in there. I get the concept, just not sure if needed and was looking for opinions. Soldering on it is done well, butt connectors already attached and ready for Aux wiring connect, but seems redundant.

i have it installed on mine JLUR but like you, I'm concerned that it's not waterproof. i was thinking of using something like this to incase the unit but it would require some modification:

It would be great it there was something better to use "out of the box" parse..

I've got a bundle of 8 rock light wires that I would have rather terminated with ring connectors. Instead, I did an ugly soldering job. If I had known about these I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat.

I scoped these before my set up and it looked legit. I'm a firm believer, by trade, amps run through a fuse not to the fuse and grounds are separated to identify a true short but your set up is still great. I also potted my fuse block and it's water tight just incase.

Nice job

I'm wondering if these are going to come back in stock. I tried emailing them twice but no reply so far.

Their site appears to have gone down. I can't find these anywhere -- not even eBay. 😞
