I've only had the jeep since the 7th, I haven't seen any OTA updates come through. Wonder if you can force this?

I know there is a big one coming in the next few weeks with the off-road pages. If it doesn't clear up in the next day I may have to take it in regardless. It's stuck on crappy SXM station at trhe moment

I'm in the same boat now. Backup camera stopped working. Also had CarPlay randomly not work for a day last week. We'll see if the backup camera works in the morning.

Since the backup camera is a soon to be federally-mandated feature (May 2018), I'd be tempted to file a NHTSA complaint; if there are enough people with the issue they will be forced into a safety hazard recall.

Add me to the camera problem list. Had my Jl for less than a week, everything worked great and today when I put it in reverse the camera is still there but not the lines and no beeps. It shows the message "Camera System Unavailable" I'll see if it's still doing it when I head out to go home. If not off to the dealer I go.

The ESS battery provides power even if the main battery is disconnected. If a battery reboot is required...where is the ESS disconnect located?

Me too. Last night I got a solid blue screen when putting in reverse. Turned off the vehicle, open the door to kill the power to the audio/Nav system, restarted the vehicle and the backup camera worked. I have had a number of quirky issues with this Uconnect system as mentioned in a couple of other posts of mine. I don’t think Jeep tested this Uconnect set up very well or they received a batch of poor quality Uconnect systems from their supplier. Will wait to see if a software update solves some of the issues, else will take back to the delearship. Just forgot to take a picture of the blue screen to show the service tech as I am sure replicating will be tough unless it starts happening more frequently (hopefullly not though).

I am 3 weeks into my JLUR and mine quit working today too, put it in reverse and it stays on the same screen as before. I tried to manually turn on the back up camera by using the app and it doesn't work either.

Yeah, same with mine. Good news though, it worked again the next time I' went to drive it.
