Guessing the answer is “no” as I can’t find a setting in my display nor can I find anything in JScan but is there a way to adjust the brightness and-or contrast in the backup cam itself. I know how to adjust the display. This is not a display issue

When it is anywhere from completely overcast to fully sunny my cam looks like the brightness on the cam itself is way too high and it makes it difficult to make out much of anything. I’m full sun it’s basically useless.

I’m thinking of I can put a tiny piece of window tint over the backup cam lens.

Thanks!

Nope. Try the tint thing, that sounds interesting.

Mine is usually ok during the day. At night, however, it's pretty bad. For that I turn on my rear light.

I'm assuming you clean the camera frequently.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm thinking of putting a larger shroud over the camera but interested to hear if the tint works.
