Axle swap time

I’m looking for a roundabout time to do an axle swap? I do have decent mechanical skill, a friend who used to be an helicopter tech will be helping me and also have access to a lift and power tools.

My only issue is the space I’ll be using is only available for 8 hours a day and you can’t store overnight.

How assembled are the new axles (shafts, knuckles, ball joints, brakes, etc. included)? If so, you can do it in 8 hours.

They are full assembled, stock 392 axles with brakes included

Easy peasey lemon squeezy. You should have time for a long lunch even

That will be an awesome upgrade and should be pretty quick, especially since you have access to a lift. I am sure you have already planned on it, but if not, you will need a programmer to change the gear ratio and de-activate the FAD.

Yep, already have a JLTazer. So should be good to go there.

I did mine in about 9 hours solo, about 45 minutes was just struggling to get the drag link ball joint popped out. You shouldn't have an issue getting it done in a day. I saved some time and just reused my stock brakes until I get the brake lines to run the upgraded ones so that saved bleeding time.
