D is gathering parts. D1 is parts gathered, awaiting build.

I was wondering that too!!!!

It's kind of a luck of the draw, brute force kinda thing.

Sorry repeating myself from another post, but wanted people to know my Average Delivery Time in Canada.

Just received news from my dealer that my jeep has been received at the dealership today. Ordered Sep 22/20 Ontario GTA - 2021 Sahara (V6, Sky touch roof, cold weather package, LED, Black w/Saddle Brown leather). Almost 7 months after ordering.

My dealer told me the delay is because of a semiconductor shortage but I don’t believe it. This article clearly states the models affected. Wrangler is not one of them.

In Canada I ordered mine in Mid February ( Rubicon 3.6l unlimited) .
Called my Dealer 2 weeks ago.
All they can tell me is you are lucky if we get it by May.
Why is it they do not have any idea?
Why can they not give me a vin so i could check like others do?

I confirmed with my dealer, its D1 now and I have an estimated ship date of 05/05/21. Jeep chat works for me only 1 out of 20 times

It's really not. US orders take 4-6 weeks and wrangler production is not affected

is right!!! An honest explanation would have helped this shitty wait.

It may not have a VIN yet. I ordered mine on November 7/ 2020 and it was assigned a VIN in February.
