Average inspection time

For those who have ordered the wrangler and tracked the progress, what is the average time in inspection? Mines going on 2nd day while others zipped through in like an hour. I’m not sure if it’s because of how it’s configured (like hard top vs. soft top / I ordered premium soft top), or if that’s irrelevant. I’ve read the horror stories of long inspections and cloned orders and was just wondering if 40 hours in inspection is not a big deal.

Likely not actually being inspected for a period of 40 hours ; just a category while it sits somewhere .

Probably a two minute actual inspection , without actually driving to check the steering .

The inspection which counts is the buyers pre-purchase inspection before he pays the moolah .

Yes it was a cloned order. Original order on 6/8. Clone was delivered 10/15. Long wait...

I'm also interested in this. On JG i see a bunch of 2019s sitting in Inspection status including mine. Hopefully they all move along soon.

Same. I saw at least two built an hour or two after mine Saturday night that went right past inspection while mine is still in I since Saturday.

I saw a couple JLs on jeep garage today that are still in "I" status but moved to an Ingate/Rebay facility. Wonder if those are moving to JS status or instead a longer I wait...

Pound me too, as they say.
Mine's been in inspection for a while. Got my build sheet on 11/2.
I don't mind waiting as long as they do a thorough inspection and solve all the 2018 problems

Just checked Jeep Chat and I’m still in I status too. I asked if they see any estimated ship dates or anything and they so no, but have been told that most don’t spend more than 3 weeks in I

You know, I think I am better off not knowing. Never signed up for Jeep Garage. My dealer told me when I ordered on 9/22 that it would take three to four months. Thanksgiving would put it at three months, Christmas at 4 months. So I figured if I get it before Christmas I'll be happy.

I did however sign up on the cryptostickers. So early Tuesday morning I got an email with my build sheet. Now I am waiting on an email that the window sticker has been issued. As a result I now check daily for the window sticker, OK, actually multiple times daily.

Watching my future Wrangler sit in every stage along the way would drive me absolutely insane! I understand everyone who has signed up and gets to watch their new toy along the way, but for me, sometimes not knowing is better.
