Big sport guy here going to call my Jeep the sporticon (only thing I’m missing is the t case). Sold my sport axles for about 1500 and bought my (brand new) Rubi axles for 4300. I need locker hookup now. How many amps do I need to safely run the Rubi e lockers? I believe it is under 10a each. I’m not in the electrical union, so I struggle following this shit. What could I possibly run that will take 40a as the other two switches allow? An air compressor is more then that…

You'll be fine with the 10a switches.

Air compressor would be fine on a 40a.

The aux switches are linked to relays.
The ARB dual compressor claims to pull 50 amps max. It was my understanding that the relay is still fused to 40A.

As for the lockers, good to know the 10a is enough. Thanks!

The main job of a relay is to allow a low power signal to control a higher powered circuit. The ARB amperage is covered. Like I said, you're good to have it on the 40A.
