I just highly doubt they made an entire canbus change…the UC5 has been around for 2 years prior to JL getting it… which makes me think it was a canbus communication error as opposed to compatibility, maybe in the homemade harness. But, without OP comment who knows
That is probably true. I just want them to fix the damn thing or approve aftermarket replacements at this point. There has to be some limit to the amount of time they can drag feet.
Where did you find the maximum statutory period? I'm sure any decent law firm would eat this up as a class and maybe we could all get enough to install a CF or ACT clutch, and then some if we got lucky
Called my local dealer today for S&G's... they basically said they have no information and Jeep/FCA/Stellantis whoever it is now has been keeping them in the dark about it. At this rate I am kind of surprised there isnt a class action against Jeep yet.
I agree, but the difference is they know the airbag is dangerous and are replacing them... They didn't try to upgrade the software of the airbag (twice) to prevent it from exploding. They went to the root cause right away and fixed it.
I agree with you, but I am also unaware of any manufacturer that has known of a problem for 3+ years that could result in catastrophic failure and loss of life and failed to remedy it via recall W12, Y07, and now 19A

I’m Chris, I live in DeKalb. I have a 22 JL Sport with a M/T. It’s my 4th wrangler. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Perhaps I missed it, but have you had any manual 24's come in yet, and have you noticed/heard anything about a new clutch design? It has been crickets from Jeep regarding the clutch recall, so many manual owners are curious what the 23's and 24's are coming with since they are seemingly being...
I am still holding high hopes from your first post on this thread... the update you got via email.
