Hello All,
I wanted to post to hopefully save some of y’all some time, stress, and grey hair.
I recently finished installing the Mopar Aux Switches as well as a few 3” cube lights. Took my 2018 JL Sahara to the dealership for the flash. Once the Jeep was picked up, nothing worked, immediately I was back with the service tech diagnosing. We found a few posts that referenced the relays and I left with a projected week wait for the relays. After a bit more searching, all was solved!
To make the rest of post quick and easy here are 2 tips:
1. Wait to attach the battery connection until the end of the install. We installed the connections and soon heard clicking and wondered what it was.
2. If you are reading this after installing and ran into the same issues that I did: check the 5amp fuse that should be near the battery.
That fixed everything!
Hope this helps save someone a little time and effort.
