Now you have an excuse not to replace your cabin air filter!
Is it behind the glove box?
I don't think I will jump at another jeep. I will just have mine wrapped. But def NOT at the same place. My repair bill for what they messed up was almost 2k!

It has been a while since I replaced a cabin filter in a Wrangler. I seem to remember the cabin air filter being behind the glove box.

I wonder how much a wrap cost? What happened? What needed $2K to repair?

Short version- 1 front fender & wheel well/1 back fender & wheel well/ so many clips/paint nicks.

Long version-
The wrap was $2500. I got 1 other quote from a place in Miami that was $4500. I stayed more local and I was wrong. I went to pick it up and noticed some cords from the front bumper/winch were hanging loose. I figured a clip must've broke. Indeedeedo I was correct. I secured them temporarily and went home. A few days later (kiddo was gone the entire time so she didn't see her jeep); I took it in for a go-over, to have the borla exhaust installed, the new dash installed, oil done ect, and tires r&a... I wanted confirmation it was as safe as I could achieve to give it to her. Service calls me... "ummm please come see me, I'd rather explain this in person". Service is quite familiar with me. We have an understanding I can be super sweet or a super ---- (as stated on my winch. I do "WARN" people, lol.) So when they refused to tell me over the phone, I took it seriously. I had to replace a front fender as well as a back fender including all the components, and clips. Also numerous clips around various parts of the vehicle. There are paint nicks in the wheel wells and under tire area where the clips should've been (none are in visible) ; her jeep is originally black (thank goodness), so they kinda blend but I will have them coated at her next appt.
Now, I left the door tools with instruction book (that Jeep gives us), and I said I had the complete jeep tool set for like the dash removal clips and stuff, and I have extra various sizes of clips, but all he wanted was the lil door/instructions kit. *smh. The fenders. Destroyed to hell, not to the outer eye unless you touch them. I'm shocked they didn't fall off while driving. Clips were destroyed and missing. Wheel well was the same. 1 side of the Jeep was ok, go figure. The other is now new. Should've gone to Miami. I thought their price was bc of "miami" now I know they are more qualified. Lesson learned. No, I did not go back to Wrap guy and complain. I think he leaned a good lesson as well...prob made up some curse words during the process. It's his lil shop and times are rough so I didnt want to ask for any compensation. She's happy and the Jeep has been through another deep inspection. That's life. I didn't give a review on line and I don't tell ppl who I used unless they name him, and then I suggest the Miami place (who has done hundreds of jeeps). I am so happy I didn't want him to wrap the tailgate. He would've removed all big tire crap and I can't even imagine.

I asked about the cost of wrapping because I considered buying a Black Wrangler and covering it with clear Stealth Matte paint protection film.

Wow, it makes me wonder how someone like the first shop can stay in business like that? He has no business touching other people's property let alone charging money. You are a better person then I am. I would have gone after him for the damages on principal alone. The most important thing is everything is done to your satisfaction now and your kiddo is happy. She's a lucky daughter and you are a unbelievable mom. I hope both of you have a great time Jeeping!

I say wrap away! I really want mine wrapped now. Just not sure how. But I know where to go this time.
As for wrap guy... I just think he was wrong guy for a jeep wrap. Other projects I have seen were good.
