Since my jeep is still new with only 2,200 miles on it.I just push disable button when I drive.
once it gets done with two free oil changes ( unless needing to go back to dealer for wrarrenty issues)I will install the disable the start stop function with a 50.00 dollar eliminator Harness.

not so much forwear on starter and battery but not keen on turbo lack of lube when stoped then suddenly start back up with momentary lack of turbolube till oil pump builds psi again.

simlar to letting engine warm up a few minutes before driving along with letting idle minute or two before shutting engine off. Turbo lube more concerning to me then battery wear on aux battery.
strat stops are the worse conditions for a turbo and lube they need IMO.😊

Lord help me, I’m sorry. Not used to being on forums.
I appreciate everyone’s feedback. At this point what I’d like to know… is there a way to make the AutoStart seem to have never existed? I’ve read through some old posts at this point and I know people get irate about this subject.
I know things can be purchased to keep the system turned off so you don’t have to turn it off yourself all the time. Since that negates the need for the battery
If you remove the aux battery, and move terminals around, will the warning lights all go away?
I just want a clean dash with no alerts. If there’s a thread that points me to this please link it for me.
Let me answer this for you. I was in a similar situation some time back:
There is no way you can eliminate it but you can bypass it.
What I did:
1) Disconnected the negative terminal of the Aux Battery.
2) Removed the Fuse 42
3) Doing this alone would not work because the load would come on the main battery
4) Added a start stop eliminator.
5) So once you hit the Auto start stop button on the console it remembers. So if you have switched it off it will remain off. Which means you come home...you switch the car off and get out and lock the car and next morning when you start the car the Start Stop would still be off.

Yes, thanks for correcting the link!
Many big time Thanks for that link, I ordered one and it showed up overnite. Got it installed in short order and Bingo..........it does the job to eliminate the need to push that damn button.

A few months ago, I had ordered one of the other choices to eliminate the start/stop feature and it required pulling off a section of the dash left of the steering wheel to swap out a connector. At the time, I got the old connector out but at my old age, I couldn't get myself positions right to make the swap and had to give up on that method.

Anyone want that one, I can make it a great deal.

I may get some flak for this, but you should never circumvent the auto start stop nor the aux battery. The engineers designed it this way for a reason. In addition to being more fuel efficient, the vehicles ECU is designed to have this feature in tact. You could void your warranty, endanger your safety and the safety of the others around you. Never change things from the way they were designed. The engineers know more than you. Changing one of these essential design components is reckless and shows you have no concern for your fellow citizen or the planet.

Ok, ok, I can't do this any longer 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. It's all total bs and we all know it.
