So out of nowhere my auto headlights are acting up. When I start my Jeep in the garage the lights come on since it’s no very bright in there but as soon as I pull out into the daylight they shut off.

All of a sudden now, same scenario, they won’t turn off. If I turn the Jeep on and start again in daylight they stay off until they are triggered to turn on again and at that point they won’t shut off again until I turn the Jeep off. Anyone else have this issue? I’ve had it for almost a year and this just started yesterday.

Let me give the dealership a chance to fix it, if I have any issues I will definitely get in contact with you.

No, haven’t had a chance to take it in yet.
@MSchir1
I have the same issue as well.
It doesn’t auto turn off until I shut off the Jeep and start it again in sunlight.
I took it to the dealer once and incompetent as they are, tells they can’t diagnose it because I’m using aftermarket headlights. Sigh.

I really hope I don’t get that piss poor excuse. I’ve had my LED bulbs in since I bought the jeep about 11 months ago with no issue. This just happened about a month ago out of nowhere.

I’m wondering if maybe I should put the stock bulbs back in when I take it

Yes. Mine too, I kept telling them it’s probably a sensor issue, but they won’t take a look unless I return headlight to stock. Hopefully you’ll have better result than me so I can take a few notes on where to look.

I’ll let you know as soon as I get it in, hopefully my dealer fixes it.
