I went to nwjeep in the beaverton area. Got a great deal! How about you?
same place...I am not sure about if good deal or not. think I got about 1-2% below invoice. many are reporting much more of a deal.

Was planning to order this afternoon but my dealership said they were going to call and see if they could change one of the JLs already allocated to them to match what I want. Any idea why they would do this? Would it be faster than ordering a new one?

Yes, I would assume it would be faster.

No, that seems stupid. Ordering your Jeep also gets your name in the window sticker. Them altering some order? Go find another dealership who knows what they are doing.

I just remembered I have USAA and would like to know if I can use this to negotiate or are the USAA rebates to the dealer too much for non USAA orders?

Could be wrong but my understanding is that TrueCar and USAA work different from affiliate deals. They get special pricing for driving traffic to specific dealers and the dealer actually pays them a finders fee. They don't pay rebates back to the dealers like the factory does.

And everything is negotiable.

The only problem with USAA and TrueCar is they have to negotiate with individual dealers so the discounts are inconsistent. And there has to be a vehicle on the lot at their dealer so choice is more limited. But depending on where you are you may get a very good deal on a lot vehicle.

If i got anything wrong please correct me.

@JLWF Dealer Guy does your dealership have JL training at the of this week like ive heard from my local dealers? Maybe they'll shine some light on colors, interiors, availability?

The reps don't know anything. I'm in no danger of learning something new.

Hello Jeep Dealer Guy. We put a deposit on a wrangler unlimited sahara Nov. 7. The build sheet has a VIN number and I've been told it's status is D. If it is a stock order (4EX)? does that mean it could take many moons before I ever see it arrive?

Hard to say. Production seems to be clicking along. I bet it will be quicker than you think.
