Couple of great days in Jerome and Sedona. We got to follow a daily driver model A pickup for 10 casual miles or so (no passing) had a great meal at Haunted Burgers and nice day on Vultee Arch trail. Charged the battery to show 28 miles going from Flagstaff to Sedona. Not real miles but fun to try and get to 30.

We have lived in AZ, for about 51 years. I for one, would not want to live any other place! We have 4-wheeled all over the State, starting back in the late 70's. Back at that time, we had a 1974 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. I should have kept it.
I'm glad that you were able to visit some of our most beautiful Country. Visitors come from all over the World, to see Sedona. Jerome is a historic old mining town.

I'm going in a few days. Sucks I missed the good weather. It'll be high 70s to 80s when I arrive.
Will be looking for technical trails while I'm there.
Great pictures!

Lots of choices. Phoenix area is pretty much like living in any big city but plenty of great places otherwise. We’ve always enjoyed Flagstaff, very central while still having everything you need to live your life and great weather with seasons but not too extreme.

Thanks, last year we were here after lots of snow and rain. I was still finding chunks of red mud a couple of months later 😊

70-80’s is pretty nice here with the low humidity but living in the San Diego area we love the cold and snow when we come here this time of year, just enough to enjoy it.

We really enjoy the area, Jerome is fascinating to think what kind of effort it took to build a town there.

We were just in Sedona for Spring Break last week, amazing!! Weather was 80s also so that helped. Also checked out Antelope Canyon and Grand Canyon, words cannot describe the beauty of all that scenery.

If you like more rural forest, don't forget to check out Payson, Showlow, Williams, Springerville, Flagstaff or more arid areas like Bisbee, Oracle, and Prescott. Depending on your health and lifestyle, some considerations might be: the proximity and quality of medical care, restaurants and the social environment. Some people want to be around a lot of other people, some want to be more isolated. For us, we noted that medical is moving up the rungs year by year. I can drive or fly anywhere for recreation.

Im looking for somewhere to jump in my SxS and take off. I dont want to trailer it all over. Mostly because im spoiled here to be able to do that.

Sedona, Cornville, Forest Lakes/Payson and Jerome are four of the reasons I moved here from the Chicago area! Even as much to finish out college here in 2002! Needless to say, visits home are short, but everyone who comes to visit me stays long.

Happy to help be a guide sometime for anyone coming out this way...myself and my rescue pup (and sometimes even my husband when he's up for it) love to interact and show people the way of the land!
