Apex 12k free spool switch hits bumper

I know I have seen solutions somewhere but I just can’t find it… i was hoping to just rotate the switch to fore/aft, but it’s keyed in a weird way.

I suppose i am either grinding the switch or the bumper….

Grind it shorter.

my smittybilt allows me to rotate that whole side to put the lever at the 3 o clock position (when looking from the drivers side) but it doesn’t look like that’s possible with the apex

Did you ever figure this out? I took the lever out and put on a grinder to clear the bumper.

I clearanced the bottom of the lever with a grinder. It's easy to remove.
