I am stuck.
2 Things.
1> I broke the red terminal cover into multiple pieces. Do I have to have that, or I can plug that terminal plug back in without the red cover.
2> I successfully, wire the camera from the front grill up to the driver side fender area through the unused clutch cover opening, but I don't know how to a> get the remain 2 grey and yellow ends to the GPS Screen area. b> Do I have to remove the trim to get to the 12V for the grey plug? (Power)?

Thanks

I destroyed mine too. Joe sent me a replacement. Awesome that he had one.

As for the second part, yes, you need to remove the trim with the buttons under the screen, the screen trim and the screen

IMPORTANT / CAUTION:

When connecting the ZAutomotive video cable .....the red cover thing you are going to be working with on the 8.4 radio itself, doesn’t need to be totally removed.

You just need to pop the red cover thing out about 1/4 inch till it stops. Don't try to remove the red cover thing or you will break it.

Yes, Joe will be adding this info to the install instructions.

@laueddy

Joe, has some spare caps. He is awaiting communication from you and will send one right out to you.
Reach out to Joe at ZAutomotive, and he will send you a new red cap.

I installed the non Z camera on mine. Mounted it to the bumper right in front of the winch. Ran cables through the clutch knock out. Since you have the lower panel below the steering wheel removed, you can run it along there to the right side of the guages. I used a coat hanger and fished them up to the back of the radio. Programmed the Tazer for cargo camera. Works great

Finally got that installed. in terms of the 2 grey plug. I turned out needing to pull the bottom dash where the 12V outlet is located. When fishing the wire from the Driver side fender, I used a coat hanger to fish, except I managed to break wires which attached to the 2 grey connectors (Those wires are thin) =. I manually spiced the wires back.
