Another one of these threads, but does anyone have any suggestions on my situation? I purchased my 2022 4xe JLRU with a Mopar 2” Lift (Fox Shocks) already installed. Recently my local dealer had replaced the springs out of warranty, as they were making an odd noise whenever you would get in and out of the vehicle. I also had a concern about the passenger side, which seems to be extremely close to the shock.

After replacing the springs, the passenger side still seems to be super close to the shock, and now I’m noticing hitting the bump stop ever so slightly. Driver side has a tiny bow forward, will have pictures of both. The vehicle itself drive fine. It tracks just a tiny bit to the right if I take my hands off the wheel at any speed above 20mph.

Tires are 37” BFG KO2s, 28psi. Just had it rebalanced as well.

Looking at the pictures, could this be an install problem (Maybe isolators?) or is this an adjustable track bar fix? They are brand new springs, so I can probably rule those out.

IMHO. Adjustable trackbar should fix your issue. Take a pic of the front of your Jeep. Does one tire stick out more than the other? You could do both. (track bar and correction pad)

Tires seems to be identical. I’ve measured from the top of the spring mount to the same point of tread on each tire and there may have been a mm difference.

I also think an adjustable track bar can get me where I need. Probably something I can do in an afternoon in the garage. Any track bar recommendations?

On second thought....The bow is not too bad and it does appear there is a correction pad. (Maybe a better iteration of the Mopar lift. if your axle is pretty much straight, you'll be fine the way it is.

Yeah it seems to have correction pads, and the bow itself isn’t bad. Not at all like others I’ve seen on the forum.

My biggest concern is the passenger side, as the spring is way closer to the shock, and seems to occasionally hit the bump stop based on some of the black paint on the bump stop showing raw metal now. Nothing is touching when sitting on level ground, but its really close.

Not doing any major wheeling anytime soon, but just overly concerned :)

Yes, you need the adjustable trackbar to recenter the two axles because of the lift. As the vehicle pitches under acceleration and braking, the vehicle more than likely will not track correctly because of the offsets.

As for the Mopar Lift with the Fox Shocks, it is a great kit especially the shocks. However, be cognizant on the extra weight added to the vehicle, it will not handle a lot of extra weight.

Get these, should take care of it assuming the top isolators are clocked correctly……

But
That was my first thought, but I know there were multiple versions of the Mopar Isolators, mostly to help with the bow. The bow just doesn’t seem that crazy compared to others.

Based on the bow somewhat backwards of the passenger side, then slightly forward on the driver side, would an adjustable track bar help bring the passenger side forward, and the driver side back some? I’m sure the isolators couldn’t hurt either.

The adjustable track bar only moves the axle side to side….make sure that your springs are for a 4xe, they are heavier so regular Mopar springs may bow under the extra weight…….also make sure the upper isolators are in the right position, there’s two nubs on the isolators that fit in the holes in the coil housing…. The oem uppers are tapered and if they’re not turned right , that also will cause a bow……

oem upper isolators…..

Thanks for the photos and info. Sounds like it’s probably isolator related, and the RK Isolators are my best bet here. Taking a few more photos, isolator on the passenger side looks pretty mangled. Somewhat on the driver side, but way worse on the side I have concerns about. First picture is the passenger side, second is the driver.

Does it look like that could be the problem here?

I would definitely try the RK isolators as your next move….. it’s likely the issue….there’s something going on with the spring in pic… the top of the coil that the red arrow is pointing at should be up where the red line is….

Thanks for the info. Going to order them, then need to find a place to install em. Don’t think the dealer will do it, and if they did, they’d probably charge me a ton.

The one in the pic is the driver side, thanks for pointing out that it looks odd. My guess is the isolators are from the original install, and I didn’t own the vehicle for that. Current dealer just swapped the springs onto all of the existing parts.

Sure man, no worries… it’s not hard to do, you can do it yourself in driveway or garage… surf the YouTube, there’s vids on how to do it……

For our tour business we run five '21 Gladiators equipped with the Mopar 2" lift. Compared to our Jeeps your photos look way wrong, and my hunch is the only thing from the kit that was installed was the springs and maybe the sway bar links. They should have installed the kit's front spring lower seat isolatorsIf the did the lower ends of the springs should face forward. My guess is they either didn't install them or they put them on backward, that is they have the right side on the left and vice versa. Per the instructions the front springs should have a slight bow "outward."

Also, be sure they installed the replacement front lower control arms. They look identical to the stock arms, but are 1/4" longer to correct caster.
