Ok, So I know there are plenty of leaking factory shock threads on here but I have a question... I just took my 2024 Rubicon X in with one of the issues being a leaking passenger rear shock and the service advisor told me he had another in the shop for the same problem and that it was also on the passenger rear. is this possibly a new issue with the 24's or just coincidence? I get that the factory shocks are poorly built but I just barely have 10k on it, hasn't towed/hauled anything and hasn't even been off road yet(I know, I know, I'm planning on it soon!) I just don't want to put a nice expensive set on and find out there is something causing this. And yes I know this picture doesn't appear to be leaking as it has already puked its guts out on my garage floor...

My 2023 High Tide, the drivers rear leaked in the first couple thousand miles. Had it replaced under warranty. By 5000 miles, the right rear was now leaking. I then replaced all the shocks and steering stabilizer with Fox 2.0. Nearly 10,000 miles and no leaks and much better ride quality.

My 2024 392 just recently has leaking front drivers shock @ 3k miles. Replacement is back ordered, they can't tell me when it will be in. Been 2 weeks at this point. I picked it back up from the dealer so I can still drive it while the weather is nice.

The factory shocks are low quality, short travel (especially on an X with the extended bump stops where you can literally fit a shock with 10-12" of travel with no other mods), and not worth the effort for replacement even if they are free. We swapped out to bilstein 5100s before the jeep has 3k miles on it. Never had a leaky factory shock because I never ran the stock junk long enough to worry about it.

What are the part numbers that fit the front and rear for 2024 Rubi-x? Thanks

Found these

My ‘21 JLUR-XR has a leaking front driver shock. It has 25k miles but the 3 year warranty period is almost up. It would be nice if the dealer would just order me a shock and let me replace it myself but I’m sure that won’t happen.

Yup, total junk. 3 of 4 were shot on our 2023 Rubicon by 15k miles, and had the complete set of 4 replaced under warranty at 20k miles.

100 miles later they were removed and replaced with a Bilstein B8 5100 1.5" lift (which included the exact shock part #'s pictured above).
