I'm trying to find a part number for these - I'm sure they exist. The factory bulb is apparently a 2504 - and I can find plenty of 'clear' bulbs, but no yellow/amber.

Does anyone know the part number for yellow/amber halogen fog light bulbs?

Yeah, I hear ya about this
white lights are not "fog lights" and only certain colors of yellow/amber actually are so..
good luck on the quest
(and yet I was useless)

I just used lamin-x film on top of the factory led fog lights. They look great and function well.

That was an option I was looking at (I have the film), however, I think different bulbs would be a better option (if they exist, that is).

Yellow bulbs would just be regular bulbs with a yellow coating on the glass. The yellow lens tape works fine. LED are better.

That makes sense - but I like the idea of changing the bulb over putting on a film (changing a bulb is easier).

They do look good - but with how low the fogs are (physically), my concern is that snow/ice would build up on the housings.
What specifically are you looking for then? Any LED bulb you place in the stock housing will likely not generate enough heat to melt snow, if that is your concern.

I did the Lamin-X protective film on my Outback with very good results. Both the Subi and the JL I have, have LED Fog Lights with very good cutoff and fill in where “I” need it in bad weather. I like the Amber Tint because I know it is on when it’s on. One HUGE reason I did it on the Subi was to make it look different from all the others out there. I am really not sure if the Willys will get it or not though.

The salesman link above has some truth to it ? I couldn't find any.
I've owned fog lights that actually could see through fog and even heavy rain and every single one of those was yellow or amber
It's been a long time and the "fog lights" on the Wrangler are certainly not fog lights but just an extra pair of headlights
When you get a good pair of real fog lights you will actually turn off your headlights and clearly see through... you guessed it... fog !!!
