FWIW - my wife's '23 Grand Cherokee Summit High Altitude was ordered 5/23 & I just received an estimated ship date of 7/28 (which means it should be built around that date). Our '22 Wrangler order was accepted 11/13/2021, was finally built 5/19/22, and still hasn't been delivered. I passed on the Wrangler and purchased something else.

As far as we can tell color doesn't seem to impact builds.

It trully is a mystery. I ordered my Rubicon May 3, 2022, got a build date of June 22, and it actually shipped out on June 26. It is somewhere on a railcar between Ohio and Oregon. This is worse than waiting for Christmas as a kid.

Agree, it’s like telling your child they are going to Disney this year you just don’t know the date yet lol.

Thankfully, I didn't have a deposit down on the Wrangler so I'm not out anything. It doesn't hurt the dealership either because our order was below invoice price & they'll just sell it for MSRP or more now.

I like Jank4AU answer the best,, I ordered a Firecracker in December and 2 weeks later changed my mind when I saw Granite was a color. The firecracker came in months ago and I still don't have my granite. Same configuration just a color change for loaded XR's. Delivery says 7-21 so exactly 8 months and some of them pretty frustrating , especially when the one came in way earlier.

I was told 10-14 weeks after placing the order. I ordered June 9th. It’s been a month and the tracker only shows order confirmation. Was hoping to get by end of Sept., seems like wishful thinking.

Production isn't even scheduled until some undisclosed time in August. It might be 10 weeks before they even start making the first ones.
