Production isn't even scheduled until some undisclosed time in August. It might be 10 weeks before they even start making the first ones.
Yeah, May have been nice for the Dealership to have mentioned that….. but it is what it is….. will just wait ??‍♀

Mine went Scheduled 7/6, dealer is saying mine shows a build date of 8/15, I'm taking that with a grain of salt. I'm expecting October / November before I pick it up.

Funny. You guys should try hanging out with the folks who ordered Broncos. Reservation to delivery times are measured in years! (2.5 to 3 years for heavily optioned builds)

As far as we can tell color doesn't seem to impact builds.
I doubt that is true. I worked in a large automotive assembly plant. Turns out some color paints generate too much bad emissions out the factory smoke stack. We had a limit on the numbers of certain color vehicles each day in order to meet those requirements. It was a long time ago, and lots has changed in the paint world. But nothing would surprise me.

Interesting. I'll check to see if there are obvious patterns associated with what you describe when I get back to that computer. I'm not sure that I'd be able to detect something like that, but we'll see.

None of it makes any sense. I ordered mine, a Diesel JLU Rubicon with almost all the options including safety group, led headlights, dual top, tow, cold weather etc. Ordered on 3/3/22, picked it up at the dealer 6/29/22. Glad my wait wasn’t too long, but confounded on why others have been waiting since last year…..

They have a chicken out back in a pen. A printer spits out VIN #'s on little chits of paper that fall into the pen. Whichever one the chicken pecks is the next VIN in the queue. Every now and then a guy with a blower mixes all the VIN chits up again. Also, if you're one of the unlucky ones, your VIN may get shit on by the chicken, in which case your Jeep order is taken out of the queue and a new chit is printed a few days/weeks later. Good luck, everyone!

I think this would be more enjoyable to watch than the pizza tracker. Yes, I check the tracker just about everyday (sometimes multiple times depending on level of boredom)

Agreed. At least for me the tracker has been useless & doesn't update. Example: our '23 GC order still just says order accepted on the tracker, but the dealer gave us the VIN over a month ago & just gave us the estimated ship date of 7/28.

With today's logistic and backorder issues, I would guess options are playing a big role in what gets done first.

My order was 6/29 and build date is scheduled for 8/15.

Another person ordered 6/15 and has a build date scheduled for 8/25.

in response to your vague thread title, no. look around on the forum a bit and there's tons of stories about people waiting for their orders.

as they say in the business:
"it takes thousands of parts to build a vehicle.
it takes ONE part to NOT build a vehicle."

in the meantime, look at it this way; the J**p you ordered is probably worth more than your trade-in, right?
if you had the J**p, depreciation would be causing you to lose more money faster than you're losing on your trade-in. ;)

just forget about it for a while and don't obsess about it; there's nothing you can do about it anyway, and it'll show up eventually.

I see, it was scheduled assembly June 2. I am not trying to be a pain. I’m ok with the waiting. Just hate that I am losing money on my trade in. When it’s not my fault.

I get with covid things are no where near “normal”
Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I was told 10-14 weeks after placing the order. I ordered June 9th. It’s been a month and the tracker only shows order confirmation. Was hoping to get by end of Sept., seems like wishful thinking.
I had one dealer tell me 8 weeks to delivery and the other one (the one we went with) said 4-6 months if we are lucky. I'm hoping for mid-Sept (just because I have a road trip planned at the end of Sept) but I am not holding my breath... Especially after reading all the posts of the others waiting. Sigh.

Ordered 4/27, Order confirmed 4/28, went to Scheduled 6/24 and silence since...

I to was hoping for a late Sept pickup as we have a beach trip planned.... my dealer told me that it probably would be close but to not count on it, they gave me at most around 3 mos. time frame. I ordered 6/9. Like you after reading the other posts and seeing the time frames maybe it will be Merry Christmas to me ;)
I have another car to drive at the moment but was excited about having it before the trip. :(

Is your tracker showing "Scheduled"? Or have you gotten an email from Jeep? Seems like once you get scheduled, the dealer can go in and check on a estimated build date. Once I got scheduled, just shot my salesman a email and he was able to look it up.

No, mine shows confirmed. I got a VIN from the dealer but the tracker has at the confirmation box, not scheduled yet. No email. Only Text from Dealer.
