Sky One Touch only available as Whitecap?

I ordered a Wrangler Rubicon X with the One Touch top. The dealer just called and told me Jeep is only allowing them to pick the Sky One Touch with the whitecap package right now. They said they checked with their rep and confirmed that was all jeep is allowing right now.

Does this sound right to anyone? Seems super off and doesnt pass the sniff test to me.

Hopefully you got it for under invoice (if you don't cancel the order). If not then at least join Tread Lightly after verifying you'll get the discount. And pay attention to the 30 days before taking ownership thing. Details in my sig.

Yes, your spreadsheet was very helpful. I just can't imagine how this is accurate though.

I really don't want a white top and I really don't want to buy a new Jeep that doesn't have the one touch. I'm hoping that this is just a glitch on the ordering system with Jeep.

I have no idea, I'm hoping another dealer is able to confirm if this is actually happening or if my dealer is getting bad information and there's a way to fix it.

If you can't get it changed so that you don't have to get the Whitecap to get the SOT, then cancel the order. Jeep will come around, sooner or later, maybe.

Maybe Jeep has figured out that the Whitecap special edition isn't as popular as they thought it would be and this is how they plan to increase their sales numbers.

See if you have the sales code AGD on your VON. That's the code for the Whitecap package.

There's currently 236 being built or in transit with the Whitecap package nationwide.

Unfortunately, no.
But the images in the tracker get built using sales codes from the order and since the one you posted had the white cap package, I thought I'd ask.

You could have the dealer pull an updated VON to see if AGD is listed on there.

Something similar happened to my JT order and the dealer gave me the option to cancel since it was not what I ordered.

Yeah, they gave me the option to cancel it. But I've already negotiated my trade and the price the vehicle. I'm frustrated because I don't want to start over

Just ordered mine in Mojito (Sahara though). Have not been told of any issues so far. Dealer claims it is in D1 with production estimate.

Sorry to hear about your issue. White tops only look good on white Jeeps.

At least the grille is easy to fix

There was someone driving around my town with a sarge islander and I almost threw up every time I saw it. Even worse when you saw the white dash.
