All Stock JLU are 4xe

Searched all dealerships in the 75 mi radius of me and the only thing they stock in the JLU are 4xe; They have loads of them but nothing without the electric option. If you don't want to go electric, you have to go to the two door or the gladiator. Have to buy before the end of the year for business expense.

I’m not sure what the question is. Are you wanting a non-hybrid? Just expand the search to 200 or 500 miles. Take a half day and pick up the jeep you want.

You'll need to find a canceled order or go to a non-Carb state to find one in stock. You can custom order ICE, though.

If you don't want to drive to another state to get your jeep, you could always buy an in stock vehicle from one off @Ratbert 's dealer list:

You can have them ship it to you. often they run below invoice pricing on in stock vehicles, so it would help offset the cost of having it shipped to you.

Expand your search! I flew across the country to pick up my jeep and drove it home!

Oh yeah! I drove 8 hours this spring to pick up my JLU (after my 4xe shit the bed). Granted, I had a very specific build I was looking for, but I brought my retired dad along and we had a great time.

If I understand it correctly, what this means is that by law dealers in certain states are forced to order only electric models for their stock if that option exists. Consumers can still order an ICE through those dealers, but the timing doesn't help you in this case.

This is going to get ugly as all those 4xe's start piling up unwanted ...

Oh dear, next step, they will only make the 4xe.
Bought a new Ram this year, and choice was etorque or etorque.......?
They are slowly but surely pushing us that way. I am guessing CAFE standards are to blame....

After waiting 6 months (and still waiting) for my order for a non 4xe JLUR, I couldn’t care less. Dealer orders were given build priority over sold orders before the strike. Their priority can sit on the lots for awhile…

I believe it was related to Stellantis's ability to keep up with CARB compliance, not law mandated.

I assume all the F150s on lots aren't Lightnings.
