Aftermarket head unit retaining USB

Has anyone installed an aftermarket headunit that also kept the factory USB plugs functioning? When I pulled out the Uconnect, I noticed a connection that looked like an older style USB plug.

I found plenty of CarPlay units, but according to Crutchfield none of them retain factory USB.

@minisoda With the JK, there was an adapter, that allowed you to keep the built in ports.

It was essentially a cable with standard USB connection at either end, albeit an unusual combination of connections.

It may be the same case for the JL, what does the end of the harness look like?

I'm looking at the Maestro iDatalink myself, but the factory usb question is still what is stopping me from making a purchase. I did receive my dash install kit this week though!
