I got a set of upgrade Rubicon wheels for a great price, which I really like. But these are making me have serious second thoughts. They are gorgeous with the body color matched rings @Shawnphi1.

About how much is it costing to have all 5 beadlock rings powder coated, if anyone’s willing to share that?
I decided to paint mine instead of powder coat due to easier to touch up if scratched! I bought a quart size of color matching paint and clear coat and I have a auto paint gun.

Does anyone know the weight of these? I couldn’t find it anywhere?
I was trying to figure it out yesterday. I'm pretty sure I saw the jks weight around 36 each somewhere but I can't 100% verify that. Would love an answer. I'm between these and the 52 turbomacs. Those are about 26lbs which would be really nice.

Kinda don't get why it wouldn't be listed on their own product specs unless they're heavy.

I've got 37s coming and would like to keep weight down some.

@Rubi-Zero how is the JK fitment wheel working out? Any issues so far?

I discovered while wheeling this past weekend that 315/70/17 tires on OEM Rubicon wheels and the 2” lift I have rubs the sway bar links just a little bit at full lock. What better excuse to get new wheels? Lol.

OEM wheels are +44, JL Borah fitment is +25, JK Borah fitment is +4. The only thing I’m not sure of is if 3/4” more clearance will be adequate or if I’ll need 1.5”.

That is gorgeous! I like it as is, but I think I’ll consider painting the protection ring Ocean Blue. Have you wheeled it hard with those tires/wheels on it? Did you rub like I did in the photos above in post #66?

Ordered the onyx Borah wheels, the protector rings, BFG 315 KO2s, and the AEV 2.5” lift, yesterday.

Having driven some 12K miles in the past 6 months, my JLUR has been a blast out on the trails and it’s on the road manners have been excellent. Hopefully, with the AEV lift, I don’t compromise too much of the on road performance.

I have not been out on anything hard yet. the only rubbing I show is at the back on the plastic coming off the bumper on the wheel side. But I have heated up the corner and pushed it in like 1 inch . I have not had the sway bar disconnected yet either. I am still waiting to order skids and a few other items before i hit harder trails.

Just had my Onyx Borah's installed on 315 KO2's (Load C) with the Terraflex ST1 1.5" Lift and Falcon Shocks. The wheels look great. I'm very happy with the result.

Another picture of the Jk version Borahs, love these wheels! Still need to get some rings though.
how did you get those to fit over the backup camera on the spare tire carrier? I actually like the stance of the JK version better than the JL. I wanted the Saltas, but those don't fit on the spare carrier.

That looks great the Norah’s are just so expensive, I am doing that lift though.. do you feel good about going with the falcon shocks, I am tempted to save the money and go with shock extensions on the rubicon shocks
