ExitLeft - I didn't use the ProSnap, going with a Tazer. I cannot stand the TPMS going off and the ProSnap doesn't adjust for TPMS.

Thanks,
Tom
Tom,

What do you mean TPMS going off? Do you not have TPMS in your new wheels (AEV/37's)?

Because I run the larger tires at 30psi instead of the 37psi on the factory tires, the system screams that my tires need air ... every time I start it. It's rather annoying...lol. Even though AEV recommends 28-30psi in their installation instructions, their PRoCal SNAP does not allow you to change TPMS settings.

Very happy camper with my AEV 2.5 setup... I also went ahead and installed the Steer Smarts components including tie rod, drag links and trackbar... did I say I am a very happy camper???

For tires, I kept the stock Rubicon wheels but upgraded to the KO2 315/70R17 and it is just right for my intended use.
Would you happen to have any side view pics to share?

My AEV 2.5 and onyx Borah wheels should arrive sometime, next week.

Glad I found this thread. I'm pleased with the stock ride in the Rubicons I have test driven. How does the AEV compare to stock?

Additionally, if I simply chose the Spacer lift, will I retain the factory ride?

I am concerned the suspension geometry will be off with just the spacers, and the complete suspension from AEV accounts for that.

I'm interested to hear any comments on this experience.

I had the AEV 2.5" on my JKUR for about 4 years and loved it. That said, when I got the JLUR I only wanted 35in tires to retain power and towing near stock level. So this time around I opted for AEV 2in spacer kit. With 35s I love the look. I do feel the steering is slightly more flighty on the interstate, but not bad. Other than that, it handles and feels exactly like factory.

I plan to install the Mopar 2in lift kit 1/4" extended lower front control arms to compensate for loss of camber I think is causing my slightly flighty steering feel. They are only $60 at the dealership. Good deal for factory quality.

Stt Cooper pro 35” 315s, AEV Savegre wheels, AEV 2.5 lift. Drives great, soaks up bumps better than stock. I was worried about AEV’s description that the lift is made for extra weight. I am light for the time being with plastic rear and steel front bumper. It feels planted, I drive aggressive and I can still drive that way without any worry lol. The 35” tires were first upgrade I did 6mos ago. 37s might be coming soon....

Looks good.

How much lift did you net? Looks like a lot more than 2.5".

The springs may settle down a bit over time. Nonetheless, I think that your set-up looks really good.

Hoping to have all of my stuff installed sometime next week. I decided to go with 35” Cooper STT Pros. Perhaps, my EVO roof rack and ROAM rock rails will help close the gap a bit.

Looks Great! I am thinking about doing their 2” spacer kit on my sport with 33”s. Do the spacers measure exactly 2”?

Thanks!

With the RTT and all my junk for camping, I had bad sagging in the back. The local Jeep experts suggesting that I add this lift. Had it installed yesterday. Adding 35's and the lift added 6" to mine. Also, eliminated the sag and looks pretty sweet. I'll post some photos later this weekend.

I haven't been off road yet, but the highway driving definitely has improved. I can't wait to take it to Utah/Colorado in a couple weeks and see how it handles there.

@WillysRubicon x2 on this ^. how much lift did you get with the spacers? how's clearance? if you had wheels with less backspacing could you clear 37's?
