Just ordered my 2.5 aev lift for my 2dr sport. Interested to see how it works.

Anyway else with any feedback on this lift yet?

@WillysRubicon x2 on this ^. how much lift did you get with the spacers? how's clearance? if you had wheels with less backspacing could you clear 37's?
The spacers are exactly 2in. I think I could run 37s with the factory wheels, definitely know I could with AEV wheels. For now i have zero issues with rubbing with 35s of course. For $400 it was hard to beat. Just dont think I need the performance of the full 2.5" kit. But being AEV I am sure it's worth every penny.

Stt Cooper pro 35ā€ 315s, AEV Savegre wheels, AEV 2.5 lift. Drives great, soaks up bumps better than stock. I was worried about AEVā€™s description that the lift is made for extra weight. I am light for the time being with plastic rear and steel front bumper. It feels planted, I drive aggressive and I can still drive that way without any worry lol. The 35ā€ tires were first upgrade I did 6mos ago. 37s might be coming soon....

How do you like this, take it off-road yet? Iā€™m between this and a rock krawler kit.

Iā€™m light like you, no heavy bumpers etc. Did you do any other parts (steering etc) with the kit or just the AEV stuff?
Thanks

Iā€™m getting the RC 2.5 spacer lift installed this week with factory rims( no backspacing ). Do you think 315-70-17 will fit ok, concerned about fitting and rubbing. Do you not want to do wheel spacers.

how much lift did the aev give you sir? looks like maybe 4 in? looks fantastic w/ those 37's āœŒ
Thank you. Iā€™m not sure how much lift it gave but feels much more than 2.5 - I should have measured. I really am happy with it. I just drove 1000 miles round trip with it and rode and drove great.

You cannot go wrong, in my opinion, with the AEV. The only issue that kept me from getting this one is that it will net 3" easily and the dynatrac stays at around 2" on our JL. AEV makes good stuff - love the JK we have.

just got back from Utah. my JLU with aN AEV 2.5inch lift and 35x12.5 BFG Ko2s were perfect. Did the White Rim Trail them hit some BLM land trails. Drove there from Idaho on the highway. No issues. This is a great combo. My buddy had a TACO with 31s. He drug and banged.. I did not.. I have a stock drive shaft and no change in gearing....Thus far, I am happy with this combo..

Hopefully, will have the AEV 2.5" lift, Borah wheels, and 315 Cooper STTs all done this Friday. Will be running the Copper Cache and Gold Mine trails in Nevada that following Sunday. Shortly afterwards, a road trip from Las Vegas to San Francisco.

Will update as things progress.

First 2dr JL with the 2.5ā€ aev

As stated, drives great. Stiffer and more responsive than stock.

Only downside is i got 3ā€+ of lift. Im a light jeep and plan on staying like that... hopefully it will grow on me more but right now its too much.

Have had the AEV 2.5ā€ lift since this past Friday. I was completely surprised by my JLā€™s new road manners. My JL has always steered and handled quite well on the road. Now, the steering is even tighter and more precise. It soaks up the bumps nicely. On road, the steering wheel only requires a light one handed touch at 75 mph. It tracks dead straight and is much much less affected by the road impurities, now. Responds quickly to steering wheel input. Love it!

Two hundred miles, so far, and loving it. Out on the dirt, today. A 2 week road trip starting in a couple of days.
