Hello, my first post here and I am hoping to get some feed back here for purchasing a new suspension kit for my 2018 Jeep JL 4 door.

The two kits I am looking at are as follows.

AEV 2.5
https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/2-5in-lifts/n0724100ab-aev-2-5in-dualsport-rt-suspension-system

and the ARB OME Heavy Load 2.5 - 3.5
https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/arb-o...-inch-lift-kit-omejl4dhks/_/R-BHWQ-OMEJL4DHKS

I currently have an Ace Engineering front stubby bumper and a LOD stubby rear bumper. I am also looking at get a beefed up tired carrier in the future, a winch for the front, along with a extended fuel tank from Long Range America. https://longrangeamerica.com/vehicle/jeep-3g-wrangler-jl-4-door-3-6-2018-2021/

Both kits I have heard great things about and some not so great. I hear people complain about the parts of AEV and for ARB it comes in no instructions.

This is for for daily driver/overlanding. No hard rock crawling.

Looking to hear from people who have driven both of these kits or what your experiences with either of these kits.

Thanks,

I am considering the same two lifts as you. I have read great things about the AEV lift, but its been a lot harder to find reviews on the ARB kit. I am leaning towards the AEV only because of the additional info on it and the fact that there is a local shop here that installs a ton of them and seems to know what they are doing. Let us know if you made a decision yet. Good luck!

Cant offer much info on the ARB, but I have the AEV lift. LOD full front bumper with winch and LOD rear bumper with tire carrier. 35" tires. RSE steps with the optional shields. Jeep is fairly heavy.

I got just a fraction over 3" of lift from the AEV Dual Sport 2.5. Very happy with the kit. Mostly street driven.

We just ordered a JLUR and are in a similar conundrum. Any updates on your decision? Able to find more positive info on the OME lift?
