I’m also about to purchase this kit. Does it level out the Jeep or just slightly reduce the factory rake at all? Thanks
I feel like the stance is perfect. I don't have a winch or any added weight to the front, just factory OE steel bumper. I ran my 35" BFG KO2's at stock Rubicon height before adding this lift with no issues but for me, it looked a tad stuffed. I think going to 37"s depending on the brand/actual tire height might resemble guys running 35"'s on stock Rubi's (except bigger of course). Not sure if I'm making sense, just typing out loud! :)

I have the AEV spacer and brackets waiting to get installed in my garage. What made you go with the mopar CAs? Am I missing a unanticipated mod??
I researched the spacer kit and the 2.5" lift, when I ordered my Jeep from AEV. If you go with any lift that is 2" or greater, then you need to bring the caster angle of the wheel back to factory to prevent it from diving forward when you brake. Bringing the ride quality back to factory.

If you get the spacer kit, you should do one of the following.
  • The AEV geometry correction bracket takes care of positioning both upper and lower control arms to correct the caster. The bracket does stick down and can take a hit. And is way more expensive.
  • The longer lower control arms from Mopar kit also fixes the caster and is cheaper. And it has better clearance as it uses the factory mounting points.
I usually try not to mix and match things, so I go with everything in one brand. That way I know that all the parts were tested in conjunction with each other. Others are more confident and comfortable mixing parts from different vendors than I am.

Installed 2” AEV Spacer lift and 35” Ridge Grapplers on stock Recon wheels with G2 wheel spacers. Rides like a Cadillac. Still looks a little stuffed to me so I may install Rubi shocks/springs for another inch or so. The Procal Snap works great and is easy to install.

Any need for an adjustable track bar with this lift? An earlier poster mentioned that it moved his axle 1/2" off-center. How detrimental is that to the on-road handling?

I went without the adjustable track bar for about a month and didn't notice any noticeable difference in handling (this was before the new steering box was installed so it pulled to the passenger side before and after). From what I've read and my own experience I don't believe the adjustable track bar is necessary at 2" lift. That being said, I did install one as I wanted the front end to be squared up / moved it over about 1/2" so both wheels sit equal inside the wells.
