There are hundreds of wires not protected behind a thin piece of plastic. It is fine.

True, but most of those wires don't have water, mud or dirt thrown at them constantly as the tires spin.

Shielding the wiring from mud and water directly is of some benefit, but I also think it just looks a whole lot better too.

I pulled the areo bumpers off.....what a P.I.T.A. I bet the engineers were sitting around a table laughing when they said..."how many screws can we use to secure these ugly things".

Once off, I dremeled the areo bumper i put it back on to protect the wiring behind the bumper. Looks way better. Now to put some 1.5" wheel spacers to give 'er that better stance.

Does anyone know which models come with the little "aero" bits between the fender flare and the bumper in front? On the Jeep site, if you build a Sport S, it has them but if you build a Willys (which is what I ordered) it doesn't. Do we think that's intentional or one of those "vehicle depicted may not match vehicle exactly" deals?
