2018 Jeep Wrangler jl
I have a 2018 JL sport. got a bumper from a 2020 Gladiator. Bumper has LED fogs, when I install will they be plug and play? My JL does not have LED fogs

No, not plug and play. Your Jeep needs to be reprogrammed for led fogs. This can be done by a dealer for a price, or with something like a Tazer.

It might be dependent on the year, but when I asked here I was told changing to factory LED fog lights doesn't require any programming. Which makes sense since my aftermarket LED fog lights didn't require any programming.

You can install the lights before you do any bumper removal or install. Go out to your vehicle, unplug current ones and plug harness into new ones, attached to bumper or not. That should give you a pretty good indicator whether they work or not I imagine.
